Dr. Shah completed prestigious surgical fellowships in the U.K. (Birmingham, Cheltenham & Oxford) and the U.S.A. (Pittsburgh).
He has worked with world leading ophthalmologists and refined his surgical skills using new techniques and cutting-edge technology.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Shah has received numerous awards and scholarships, published widely in peer-reviewed literature and has been invited to deliver lectures at international ophthalmology meetings.
Dr. Shah is passionate about medical education and has been involved in teaching throughout his professional life.
He is a Clinical Lecturer at The University of Sydney and teaches eye surgery at several public hospitals including Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick & The Sutherland Hospital.
