Xbox Support is definitely the most responsive to console-related issues. This is just one example. They shared the tweet below on Xbox Support Twitter after initial reports of Xbox consoles crashing with NBA 2K22: While this has been a problem on Xbox for a couple of weeks, people complain about the console not working whenever they attempt to play NBA 2K22 on Xbox Series X/S. This was something we noticed ourselves just a few weeks ago.
A number of people have encountered issues loading NBA 2K22 onto Xbox Series X/S. The console crashed, and displayed a message stating that the ventilation was not adequate, causing the console to shut down. It sounds like there are not ventilation problems for console players, but instead an issue is triggering it.
NBA 2K22 isn't the only game experiencing problems. Others have begun posting on forums that they're seeing the same message when trying Madden 22 or FIFA 22. FIFA 22 is only available on the EA Play 10 hours free trial.
It's even more fascinating because the game of 2K Sports and two from EA Sports have led to this mistake, all of which happen to be sporting games too. Today, a few days later though, this seems to still be a problem as per the Xbox Status page, which still lists an issue in NBA 2K22 and says it's near finding a solution.
Dexerto further reports that they sent an additional tweet which stated that they were looking into problems regarding Madden 22 (and FIFA 22) as well as the other topics mentioned in the previous paragraphs. However, that tweet was deleted later for unknown reasons.
