Once you complete this course, you can apply for the following roles:
Unarmed Security Officer - You are responsible for patrolling or watching other person's property without a weapon or guard dog.
Monitoring Officer - (Monitoring no longer requires additional training in order to be added as a function to your security license.)
Crowd Controller - You keep order in a public space. You screen the entry of people and monitor crowd behaviour.
If you want to enrol in this course, you must meet the following requirements:
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
Must be physically fit
Must be able to perform defensive tactic techniques
Must have access to a tablet or computer with a stable internet connection
Must be able to perform at least 5 cycles of CPR on an adult resuscitation manikin placed on the floor
The CPP20218 Certificate II is run as a combination of face-to-face and online learning. Participants must first complete pre-course work that involves reading, watching videos, and exams. After that, they will do face-to-face work that runs for 6 days. During this period, the trainer will deliver different case scenarios and practicals.
