For ranging the Demon, take your normal Range gear, 5 meals, 1 prayer pot and a teleport just in case. Before you teleport, get complete Prayer Points and flip on Mage Shield for save measures. Then, stand in a distance and array him or Mith arrows. Whenever the Demon is almost dead, then spec him and boom: Quest Complete. Do not worry about it too much, it is long and some parts are frustrating but it's cake. The Demon is rated too.
I'm Vedave, and I have been playing with this char because January this year. I'm level 5 (haven't trained fight (yet)), and that I guess you can call me a skiller. My original intention was to achieve 99 in firemaking, finishing with a decent WC level during the process. At present, I'm 88 firemaking and 78 woodcutting (though my WC level might be substantially higher if I'd properly trained it such as FM). To be honest, firemkaing isn't as easy as it appeared - it is fairly fast yes - but it demands some extreme concentration and patience (especially when you consider the way that it's near impossible to talk with anybody when training).
I have yet another account that I ceased using last year since I was ill of its own messed up abilities, so decided to attempt making a skiller. I enjoy my skills at the moment, but he feels incomplete. I had been P2P for a while, but I stopped because I was not using any of the members' tools (sometimes woodcut behind Seers' bank, but that is about it).
Thing is... I'm not positive if I want to stay a minimal level... fair enough, it might be cool to remain like, level 3 - 7 and possess a skillcape, but for some reasonit seems wrong to not have st least some battle skills. Call me a hypocrite, but with my other account (who I got to level 84 combat with), I always explained how much I didn't like ranged. After trying ranged correctly I really found it is a really nice skill.
The Issue, I want to understand if people think I should stop being a minimal level, and start training ranged (possibly with a bit of def for the armours). I don't mean like... reach level 60 then cease... I would love to receive 80+ ranged because it's such a cool skill. I said that when I got a 99 whilst remaining level 5, that I'd consider levelling up in combat. I don't know why Ranged sticks out so much, but it is a skill I actually enjoyed coaching (if only to level 67) together with my other accounts.
Regarding Firemaking, Like I said earlier - My aim was/is to achieve 99 fm. It's been fine so far but I've ran from maples to burn (and money). I picked maples because they are cheap and faster than willows. Problem is, is that I've 62k willows in my bank which I was planning to use for firemaking (could get me around 96-97 when all burnt ), but trimming 62k looks a bit daunting... something I overlooked somewhat once I purchased them. So now I'm trying to offer them to get maples (I can cut yews to produce money for maples when required). Should I stay with maples and attempt to market the willows, or burn the willows (will have a long time, I imagine)? Cheers for the time.
